Out of the Woods

There’s nothing like the punch-in-the-gut feeling of thinking you’re out of the woods, only to realize it’s simply a little clearing, and you might have another 4.5-7 days of vomiting and diarrhea, I mean woods, to go.

Here’s to hoping and praying that the 9yo recovers more quickly than the 11yo, because, regrettably, mama’s patience is wearing thin.

And so is the skin on her hands from all the washing.
