Gifts From Above...Because Cleveland is Surely More North then Greenwood, Right?

Note: I am directionally and geographically challenged...so if the title above is incorrect, please just go with it.
_______

I got a package in the mail today.

From my friend CM.

She came through on her promise. There was never any doubt that she would.

She sent me some bottle brushes. Her "oh-so-subtle reminder" was included in here. But I knew she would never forget.

She's like an elephant. In memory...not physique...lest you be concerned that I am insulting my friend who sent me a thoughtful gift.

Because bottle brushes are totally thoughtful...especially when you have a husband who brings home trash, I mean dirt-caked bottles, such as mine sometimes does.

So, because she's awesome, she sent not one, not two, but THREE. Count them (can you tell I have worked vastly and mostly with preschoolers...PBA aside?) One, two three! bottle brushes for me.

I love love love the promise that they haven't been used...because frankly I would not have cared a whit if they had!
And, she also sent to me some chocolate from a local place (local to her...not me, unfortunately) called Malley's. It is to-die-for.

I am thankful that she sent chocolate and not the ice cream...while it is also ah-mazing, it would have been even more melty than the chocolate.

But the chocolate was easily-fixed by popping it in the fridge.

You might have to take my word on that, because I cannot take a picture of it at present. Because it has been consumed.

And it was delish.

And now, a picture of the bane of my existance.

Better, right? Still a work in progress...those curves are killers (I get that comment about myself all the time...but I digress) but at least you can see THROUGH it now.

Thanks, CM...you are awesome (have I said that already?)

  1. Glad you are enjoying the brushes. I had second thoughts about the chocolate, because of the melting situation, but decided that it was worth the risk. :)
