Undoubtedly you are tired of the posts about the bird nests in and around my house, but this one could not go by without notice.
I thought the bird on the back porch struggled to get her nest together, but this one is truly a sight to behold. It's got the messiness of a Mourning Dove's nest, but the girth of a Robin's nest.
It is, in fact, that of a Robin. I've seen her in action.
She's GOT to be new. Her mate must love her for her other marketable attributes, because it surely isn't her housekeeping skills.
And yes, I am, once again, mocking the Animal Kingdom.
